Some of these features require higher licensing ties, like Teams Premium. With these features come over 500 different configuration settings and options to choose from. These help you tailor the Teams Phone experience for each of your user groups.

On top of these in-house Teams Phone features, you may also subscribe to third-party products and features to further enhance the Teams Phone experience.

For example, the built-in call recording may not be sufficient for making calls in a PCI-compliant manner. Likewise, the breadth of Teams call reporting and analytics may not be suitable for contact centers or businesses handling extremely large call volumes.

There is a variety of third-party add-ons in the Teams Phone ecosystem. However, we strongly advise you learn to walk before you can run.
