Callroute has released its June 2026 update, introducing improvements to bulk number management, expanded Auto Provisioning capabilities, and new tools for partners operating multi-tier channel environments. These enhancements reduce administration overhead for IT teams and give partners greater visibility and control across customer estates.

Automated Phone Number Deprovisioning

Automated provisioning can now be configured to remove a phone number assignment from a user as part of an automated workflow. This allows IT teams to handle offboarding, role changes, and organisational restructuring without manual intervention, ensuring number assignments stay aligned with user lifecycle events.

Automated Phone Number Reassignment Controls

A new Overwrite Existing Number Assignment option has been added to automated user provisioning. When enabled, Callroute will remove a user’s current number and allocate a replacement from the range or location targeted by the Persona.

This is particularly useful when users move between departments, offices, or provisioning groups that require a different number allocation policy. By default, users with an existing number retain it. Administrators can enable the overwrite option selectively to enforce the correct number policy for each provisioning scenario.

Partner Platform Enhancements

This release includes two updates for Microsoft Teams User Management For Managed Service Providers.

A new Distribution Layer has been introduced to support multi-tier partner structures, providing greater flexibility for organisations managing channel and reseller relationships at scale.

In addition, a number of usability and navigation improvements have been made to the Reseller View, improving how partners manage multiple customers and services from a single interface.

Enhanced Bulk Number Management

Managing large number estates requires the ability to update attributes efficiently and consistently. Previously, administrators had to make changes individually, increasing the time and risk involved in maintaining number inventory.

Callroute now supports bulk updates across four key number attributes:

  • Tags
  • Descriptions
  • Locations
  • Reservations

Administrators can apply changes across multiple numbers simultaneously, reducing the manual effort required to keep number records accurate and up to date.
