Intelligent Call Routing

Callroute makes it effortless to route phone numbers to the service of your choice — Microsoft Teams, Webex, existing PBXs, contact centres and more. Assign individual numbers or update entire ranges in bulk in just a few clicks.

Behind the scenes, Callroute intelligently routes calls across the Callroute network wherever possible.

That means if one Callroute-connected number calls another, the call stays on-net — avoiding unnecessary PSTN breakout and delivering better quality, lower cost and higher resilience, regardless of the platforms in use

Never miss a call with Automatic Failover for Microsoft Teams

Callroute provides inbound resilience through automatic failover routing, ensuring calls always have a path through.

If a primary destination such as Microsoft Teams, a contact centre or another voice service is unavailable, Callroute automatically redirects the call to a secondary destination.

Failover routes can be configured per number or across entire number ranges, allowing you to reroute calls to another number, a backup service, or fall back to a traditional PBX — ensuring customers can always reach you.

Built-in redundancy

Resilience is built into Callroute from the ground up, leveraging the global AWS footprint to deliver highly available voice services across regions.

Our core call routing platform operates on an active-active architecture, meaning traffic is continuously distributed across multiple live components — not reliant on a single primary instance.

The result is no single point of failure: if a component or region becomes unavailable, calls and services continue to operate seamlessly, helping ensure consistent uptime and dependable call delivery.

Control without complexity

Callroute makes it easy to configure number routing — including both primary routes and automatic failover — in just a few clicks. No telecom expertise or formal training required.

Real-time dashboards give you instant visibility into calling profiles and usage, globally, by country, or per number — so you can stay in control as you scale.
