To get started, contact us so we can set you up. All you need is an email address, which you’ll verify during setup.

No. We are prohibited from selling Callroute Go with Microsoft Calling Plans. However, we recommend using our Go All In plan to work alongside your calling plans.

At the moment, Callroute Go is available in 4 home countries:

  • UK
  • USA
  • France
  • Sweden

This is expanding into Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Luxembourg, Spain and Poland by the end of 2024.

If you’re a resident of any of these countries, you’ll be able to use Callroute Go as a local mobile service. When you’re outside of these countries on travel, you’ll be able to roam free in any of our Global Pass countries. Countries not in our Global Pass will incur roaming charges. You will need to activate your eSIM in one of our home countries first.

Callroute Go uses the Teams SIP gateway to become a secondary phone device to your Teams account. You pair Callroute Go using our Teams App and your Microsoft account, then after your eSIM has been created, you scan a QR code with your mobile and the eSIM installs.

Yes, you can deactivate an eSIM from the management portal.

Users answering calls using Callroute Go will benefit from the same calling features as a normal Teams Phone user in call.

As the mobile device doesn’t need the Teams app installed, presence based calling is not available when just using Callroute Go without the Teams App as a companion.

If you have Callroute Go eSIM enabled and the Teams app on the same phone, then the phone will ring twice.

  1. As a Teams OTT data call in the Teams App
  2. As a native GSM call to the mobile device dialer

You can choose which to answer from. If you don’t want this behavior, then you can disable notifications in the Teams mobile app.
