Sustainability at Callroute

We reduce our waste by partnering with sustainable charities

We have partnered with a charity that recycle, reuse, and upcycle our surplus and unused technology and telephony equipment. They recycle to Microsoft standards where possible and feed 100% of the profits into supporting homelessness in our local community.

We encourage sustainable action in the office

Our employees have feedom to work in a hybrid way. We enable this by using platforms and tools that mean staff can work from home, reducing our carbon footprint.

For those who commute into the office, we encourage sustainable travel by using our cycle-to-work scheme and electric car charging.

In the office, we make swaps to reduce our carbon footprint. This includes going paperless, swapping paper towels for more sustainable options, and offering recycling points for staff waste.

For equipment and lighting, we use eco-mode and encourage employees to reuse water bottles with our water dispensers.

Our team are also a big fan of house plants in our office thanks to their oxygen-boosting properties that provide cleaner air. Not to mention their office aesthetics too!

We work with suppliers that foster sustainability

The Callroute team also looks for sustainable partners that give back to the community and act sustainably. Where possible, we work with local suppliers to reduce carbon emissions.

For example, we look for companies that use recycled materials, support responsible forestry, and offer recyclable packaging to reduce waste where possible in our marketing materials.

By focusing on reducing waste, partnering with sustainable companies, and making sustainable swaps in the office, we can reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and support initiatives toward becoming carbon neutral.
